La Vista believes that Mature Years are the season
of reflection and deep personal work. Further, we believe in the right
and dignity of recovery for
every woman regardless of her age. Honoring this process is both healthy
and energizing. We offer you a peaceful place
to heal. Use this opportunity
to consider your life’s journey and how you may wish to create your
future as a clean and sober woman.
Addiction robs us of the possibilities that these years of harvest hold. Addiction slowly dims our vision to the energy of our life and to the successes as well as the deep losses we have endured. Addiction dulls our senses to the pain and to any lessons that we might have learned. Addiction removes…you…from your life experiences.
Recovery begins with the same first step for everyone—Abstinence. The work to build a new life and recognize the pitfalls on the path to a sustained sobriety is quite different for each woman and certainly affected by the stage in life in which she seeks sobriety. We applaud your decision to seek a life free of substance.
A flexible schedule has been designed that will fit the individual needs of our mature residents.
